A shocking incident unfolded outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s family residence in Bareilly when unidentified men on motorcycles opened fire late at night.
The shots were fired at the house of Jagdish Patani, Disha’s father and a retired Vigilance Circle Officer. The assailants fired multiple rounds at the front door and boundary wall before speeding away. The incident spread panic across the neighborhood.
After the attack, Jagdish Patani personally met Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bareilly, Anurag Arya, and lodged a formal complaint. Police teams were quickly dispatched to secure the area and begin investigations.
Goldy Brar Gang Claims Responsibility
Soon after the shooting, a post allegedly from gangster Goldy Brar’s group surfaced online. The post, shared by gang member Rohit Godara, claimed responsibility for the firing. The message went beyond just owning up, it issued a direct threat.
Threat Issued Against the Actress
The post warned Disha Patani and other Bollywood celebrities not to insult Sanatan Dharma or Hindu saints. It declared the firing as “just a trailer” and promised severe consequences if such actions continued. The post was later deleted, but screenshots had already gone viral.
Security Tightened Around the Actress’ Home
Following the complaint, police teams were stationed outside the Patani residence. Investigators are also working to verify the authenticity of the threatening post.
Police: Attack Being Taken Very Seriously
SSP Anurag Arya called the matter serious and confirmed that teams are actively pursuing the shooters. Forensic teams are reviewing bullet marks, while nearby CCTV footage is being analyzed to trace the attackers’ route and identity.
